„LAKAL” Ltd. is an engineering company working in the sphere of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning headquartered at No. 136 „Nikola Vaptsarov" Blvd., Plovdiv, owned and managed by ATANAS TRENDAFILOV.
LAKAL Ltd. is the successor of LATS„, a Sole Proprietor company, established in early 1991, originally employing former Heating, Ventilation & Air-conditioning designers from the ”TERRITORIAL DESIGN ORGANISATION - Plovdiv.
Until 1993, the company focused on the design and realisation of heating, solar and ventilation installations, when we began importing the greater part of equipment and materials, necessary for our activity.
In 1993, our first heating equipment store opened doors in Plovdiv, and by 2009 we have opened offices and stores in Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Sliven, Gabrovo, Smolyan and Troyan. We also have distributor offices in Sofia, Blagoevgrad, Kazanlak, Razlog, Rousse, Targovishte, Haskovo, Gabrovo and Tryavna.
We have at our permanent disposal installation teams, equipped with the latest in montage technology.
We have our own office and store in Plovdiv, laid out at three levels and a total area of 420 sq.m.
„LAKAL” Ltd. has been a permanent participant in the AUTUMN INTERNATIONAL FAIR in PLOVDIV since 1994.
Since 1999-2000, all our boilers and fireplaces, manufactured by LAKAL Ltd. have testing protocols, industrial design patents and a registered trade mark by the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The WATER-JACKET FIREPLACES line was awarded the GOLD MEDAL and DIPLOMA in the „MACHINE-BUILDING” section at the September 2004 edition of the AUTUMN INTERNATIONAL FAIR in PLOVDIV.
In June 2006, „LAKAL” Ltd. was certified according to the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system in compliance with the TÜV NORD procedures, and was re-certified in 2009 according to ISO 9001:2008 for the design, production, retail and construction of heating, solar, air-conditioning and venilation installations.
We have been exporting a part of our produce to other European countries for several years now.
At the end of 2009, the company staff numbered between 31 and 36 employees and workers.
